Why I Built Sir Puppy
Built from inside a real grooming salon—not from the outside looking in.
Designed. Built. Owned. Operated.
A real salon, on my property, just steps from my home.
Sir Puppy was not created by someone looking at the grooming industry from the outside. It was built from inside a real dog grooming salon—one I personally designed, built, own, and operate right here on my property.
I understand every part of running a grooming business because I live it every day. I know the physical work that happens inside the salon, but I also know how much work continues after the last dog goes home.
Most people do not realize how much happens behind the scenes. Appointments, client messages, pet records, grooming notes, staff schedules, payments, inventory, payroll, reporting, and dozens of other responsibilities all have to be handled.
Too often, groomers finish a full day of grooming only to start a second job running the business.
I built Sir Puppy to change that. The goal was to create a system that feels natural from the moment you open it—simple, intuitive, and easy to use without constantly searching for instructions. Grooming software should make the work easier, not give salon owners another complicated system to manage.
Sir Puppy was built specifically around the way real grooming salons operate. It was not adapted from software designed for another industry, and it was not created by someone who only studied grooming from a distance. Every feature is shaped by firsthand experience, real salon workflows, and the problems grooming businesses deal with every day.
I wanted to build something that could give salon owners and groomers their time back—less time doing paperwork after hours, less time fighting with software, and more time with family, friends, and the life they work so hard to provide for.
Building Sir Puppy has been an adventure, but the mission has remained simple: create the grooming software I wished existed when I needed it most.
